New Franciscan poem

Good evening everyone,

There is a new Franciscan poem on the website now, called “The TSSF Object”. This is based on the four readings of the Third Order Object as stated in the Principles. Broadly speaking, what has been expressed can be applied to all Christians really, so do feel free to apply what has been expressed in the poem to your daily life if you feel so called. In any case, I hope you will be enriched and blessed.

As the letters after my surname would suggest, I am a member of a religious order; Third Order, Society of St. Francis. I am serving a second term of office on the Provincial Chapter of the Order, as Provincial Secretary and Trustee, my new six-year incumbency starting in February 2023. I have been a Tertiary Franciscan since my profession in 1996. As well as writing poetry, I enjoy the theatre, and have been a member of a local theatre company. I enjoy cricket too, and am a Life Member of Sussex County Cricket Club. I hope you will enjoy browsing over this site, and that you will find something to help you on your spiritual journey.
