New Poem

Good afternoon everyone,

Here is a new poem which has been added to the Franciscan section of the website. It is based on the Three Ways of Service within the Principles of the Third Order, Society of St. Francis but can be used by anyone who may, or may not, subscribe to these three ways. Here it is:

Let us be like the Lord
And may His image be
Shown in our hearts and minds
In prayer, study and work.
May each of these three ways
Be evident in our lives,
Regardless of how each
Of them may be expressed
In our lives. They must be
Included in the Rule
Of Life, to enable
Us to lead fulfilled lives
And be of service to
The Lord, to others and
Ourselves; a vision of
Completeness, good and true.
