Poem “Palms” in nascence

Greetings everyone,

It’s been a long time I know since I posted a new verse on this site. That said, a new poem called “Palms” will be written in time for Palm Sunday, the first day of Holy Week. You might like to read, meditate, reflect and pray over it, alongside the poem called “Road” which is in Part One of “Triduum”. A road of victory leading to a road of pain and unbelievable suffering, yet willingly undertaken by the Lamb of God for our salvation. Worship Him in His awesome majesty.

As the letters after my surname would suggest, I am a member of a religious order; Third Order, Society of St. Francis. I am serving a second term of office on the Provincial Chapter of the Order, as Provincial Secretary and Trustee, my new six-year incumbency starting in February 2023. I have been a Tertiary Franciscan since my profession in 1996. As well as writing poetry, I enjoy the theatre, and have been a member of a local theatre company.
