Greetings everyone,
A new poem will be with you soon. I haven’t written for some time now in view of being in the throes of moving house, dealing with divorce and with bereavement, amongst other things. The poem will tackle the dream-filled sleep of Pontius Pilate’s wife during Jesus’ trial. The provisional title will be “Claudia”, the name given to her in the gruesome film “The Passion of the Christ.” I may or may not stick with that title. The biblical narrative is extremely brief but in fact can and does open up one’s imaginative powers, to my mind at least. Watch this space, as they say.
