Yet another new poem

Greetings everyone,

Uploaded on to the “Personal Experience” menu on the website is my new poem entitled “Easter Sunday 2024.” It recalls my taking Holy Communion there and my recalling fond memories of times past when I used to worship there and serve the Eucharist back in the early 1980s. I had been invited by a very dear friend to attend as she was celebrating the Eucharist and wondered if I might like to come along. I was very glad I did. It meant so much to me. I hope you enjoy this new offering.

As the letters after my surname would suggest, I am a member of a religious order; Third Order, Society of St. Francis. I am serving a second term of office on the Provincial Chapter of the Order, as Provincial Secretary and Trustee, my new six-year incumbency starting in February 2023. I have been a Tertiary Franciscan since my profession in 1996. As well as writing poetry, I enjoy the theatre, and have been a member of a local theatre company. I enjoy cricket too, and am a Life Member of Sussex County Cricket Club. I hope you will enjoy browsing over this site, and that you will find something to help you on your spiritual journey.
