And another new poem!

Greetings again everyone,

I have now uploaded yet another poem in the “I AM” series of poems on the site: “The Bread of Life.” I have reverted back to iambic pentameter blank verse for this one, especially as it is based on a lengthy passage from St. John’s Gospel. That now leaves just two more poems to complete this section, and I will set about them shortly. I hope you enjoy this latest offering. It was written exclusively in the stillness and tranquillity of St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church in Brighton here in the UK.

As the letters after my surname would suggest, I am a member of a religious order; Third Order, Society of St. Francis. I am serving a second term of office on the Provincial Chapter of the Order, as Provincial Secretary and Trustee, my new six-year incumbency starting in February 2023. I have been a Tertiary Franciscan since my profession in 1996. As well as writing poetry, I enjoy the theatre, and have been a member of a local theatre company. I enjoy cricket too, and am a Life Member of Sussex County Cricket Club. I hope you will enjoy browsing over this site, and that you will find something to help you on your spiritual journey.
