Dear everyone, this is to let you know that my Rite of Election to the Roman Catholic Church takes place at 11am on Saturday 21st February at Arundel Cathedral. This is where catechumens and candidates are ‘examined’ by the Bishop as to their readiness to join the church. Following on from that will be seven weeks of intense instruction prior to baptism (catechumens only), confirmation and first communion taking place at Easter.
