Finale – Adoration

In adoration may all bow the knee
To Father, Son and Spirit, blessèd Three
In One, and songs of adoration sing
Let loving hearts resound and praises ring
Throughout all Eden, let them ever flow
Through river, mountain, vale and hilltop brow.
From the beginning up until the end
Of human history, may we ever send
Such heartfelt thanks, forever we assign
To Jesus, Lamb of God, eternal vine,
In whom belong the branches, bearing fruit
Of value eternal, Christ is the root
Of our salvation. Love has set us free
For on the cross, that dreadful, shameful tree
Was lifted up the blessèd Lamb of God
To draw us to Himself through his shed blood
And bring us to the shores of Paradise
Wherein our praises evermore will rise
As with the elders and creatures full of eyes
Who day and night lift up their holy cries
Of worship, praise and adoration true
To Yahweh who will make all things as new.
O happy, joyful, perfect mystery
That the climax of all human history
Will, for the righteous, be felicity
Unending, in sweetest simplicity.
Bow down and worship, let our voices shout
In triumph to the King of Kings, ring out
Our praise in homage to the Majesty
The Lord of Lords, our hope, our destiny.
