Fire & Judgement iii)

The vision of the Apocalypse makes plain
The punishment eternal for all those
Who set themselves against the holy will
Of Yahweh, is most terrible indeed.
Righteous and good is He who knows the hearts
And minds of all, His justice reigns supreme
And gives due warning of disobedience
And its dire consequences, dreadful flames
Of Hell and damnation without end.
As with the goats, found on the left hand of
The Lamb of God, The followers of the beast
In Revelation’s vision, will be thrown
Into the lake of burning sulphur, there
To be tormented day and night, without
Respite, forever, this their due reward.¹
The hideous serpent, Satan, now released
Unbound from his dark prison, the Abyss
Sought to deceive the nations once more, with
No lessons learnt from his imprisonment
And too far gone in his deluded state
And gathering the nations for battle
Against Yahweh’s people, City beloved.
Such foolishness was such a mindless act
Of Satan, self-absorbed, in denial of
The outcome that was foretold in the book
Of the Apocalypse. Fire descended
On his army, encamped around the blessed
Of Yahweh and the Lamb, the righteous ones
Who, like the rider on the white horse are
Faithful and true, blessed holy, righteous souls. 
Satan was seized and thrown into the lake
Of fire, along with the false prophet and
The beast, already suffering the flames
A time before. The three of them now formed
An unholy, blasphemous trinity
(So far removed from purity and love
That marks the essence of Yahweh and of
The Lamb of God and Holy Spirit, blessed
Three in One who are worthy of all praise).²
Believe the gospel truth, avoid the flames
Of everlasting torment, be at peace 
With Yahweh and His Son and Spirit blessed
In Eden, and from labours take your rest.
