Perpetual light that shines
Can never be put out
Overcoming darkness
Christ came into the world
Despite the world's blindness
And non-reception by
His own, yet those who did
Receive Him and believed
In his name, He gave them
The right to be His own
Children, true born of God.
They walk in heavenly light
Darkness can never dim
Their path, for their true light
Is Christ, light of the world.
Lord, may we always walk
In your true light to show
The path to Heaven's shore
Of eternal light and peace.
