Love

This is our Lord’s command
To love each other without end
And witness to the world
His love, and true discipleship.

The depths of Christ’s real love
Surpasses human shallowness
To show forth through our lives
To strangers, family and friends.

Be watchful and beware
Those forces that would seek to hurt
And render powerless
The ties that bind our hearts to His.

God’s reconciling love
Will heal, rekindle and restore
And rend in righteousness
All human barriers to that love.

This is our sacred vow
To spread His love, regardless of
The cost we have to bear
His will be done, His glory show.
