A Galilean fishing boat to set
The scene for preaching and then to perform
A miracle to take the world by storm
For Simon, time to cast aside the net.
Pearls of Wisdom from Jesus' lips now cast
He asked that the boat be taken into
Deep water, and at His command they threw
Their net, a harvest of fish unsurpassed
Now filled the net almost to breaking point.
Both boats now needed to bring in the catch
Of fish, Simon could only stand and watch
With penitent heart and feelings out of joint.
The Lord assured him with a new commission;
He would catch people for the shores of Heaven.
