Based on John 10: 7-10.
The gate of the sheepfold,
The true shepherd's entrance,
To enter the sheepfold.
Entrance by other means
Is the domain of thieves
And robbers for their gain.
The shepherd's call is known
The sheep obey that call.
He leads them out to graze
In safety, for they know
And will obey His voice.
The stranger's voice is shunned,
An unknown quantity.
Jesus is the sheepgate
By which the sheep are saved,
By Him they come and go
And find safe pastures green.
By Him they will have life
And have it to the full.
