Under the blood
Forgiveness of sins
A pardon most royal
Is granted to those
Who confess their faults
Accepting without
Question or doubt
The price paid by Him
As Saviour who brings
Salvation and life,
Eternal and free
For those who are cleansed
And washed of their stains
Forever to be
Under the blood.

Under the blood
Protection from lies,
False accusations,
From Satan’s black tongue
Are proven to be
The work of the one
Whose days numbered are
And rightly dismissed
As Christ intercedes
For those who accept
The sacrifice made
On Calvary’s tree,
As sheep who were lost
And now who are placed
Under the blood.

Under the blood
The majestic face
Countenance awesome
Of Yahweh now turns
Towards the redeemed
Children that have been
Eternally cleansed
And accepted are.
With arms opened wide
To enter into
The dread majesty
Of Yahweh’s presence.
Sealed by the Spirit
Because they are now
Under the blood.

Under the blood
Dear Lord, we who are
Redeemed by the tide
Of crimson that flowed
To cleanse all our sins
And make us anew
By your grace alone;
Help us to always
Remember the love
You showed for us all.
With praise and with thanks
We love and adore;
For, safe in your arms
We ever shall be
Under the blood.
