Through Heaven’s gates, Mary immaculate
With graceful footfall unto Heaven’s throne,
Where sits Yahweh in splendour unsurpassed,
At His right hand in sublime majesty
There sits the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Jesus, the Lamb of God, now to receive
His blessèd Mother who, in procession,
With holy angels behind and before
And angel voices unified in a
Triumphant fanfare echoing throughout
The palace, now approaches the right hand
Of Him, her Son and Saviour, there to sit
In majesty and state, as Bathsheba,
Mother of Solomon, Davidic Queen
Did sit in state at Solomon’s right hand,
Royal inheritance of human line.
A new spiritual precedent awaits
Its fulfilment as Mary approaches
Her Son and recognises Him as Her
Saviour and Lord, and kneels and bows her head
To offer worship, recognising His
Great victory over the evil one,
Defeating death to bring salvation to
The world. Jesus, the Lamb of God, commands
His holy Mother, “Sit at my right hand
And take your rightful place. Receive your crown
As Queen of Heaven. My Father and I
Are pleased to give you your royal reward.”
At these words, there appeared a royal crown
Of twelve bright stars. Dazzling magnificence
And splendour unsurpassed with constantly
Changing colours. This royal diadem
Increasing in its splendour at each change
Of colour. Choirs of angels at the sight
In perfect unison sang hymns of praise
In honour of the blessèd Mother sat
Beside her Son. She is now truly blessed
And future generations on the earth
Would now with one accord give that status
Unto her royal personage for all
Time and eternity. Holy Mary,
Most glorious Queen and Mother, we bestow
Honour and reverence to you, most royal
Lady, for you, by your obedience
To the will of Yahweh did help to bring
Salvation through your giving birth unto
Jesus, the Lamb of God, whereby all can
Be saved. Blessèd are you dear Mary, Queen
Of Heaven. All people will recognise
Your right and just inheritance. We ask
In all humility your righteous prayers
That we may walk the narrow path that leads
To life, and at the hour of our death
Be raised to life immortal by your Son
And spend eternity with all the saints
And see you face to face with your dear Son.
What joy, what bliss awaits us all. Amen.
